I am a Brazilian photographer based in Dubai, after years living and working in Europe.
My wedding experience was shaped across more than 300 wedding days — both leading my own commissions and working alongside established photographers.
Today, I accept a small number of weddings each year as a natural extension of my established artistic eye. The same qualities that define my portrait work — calm direction, sensitivity, attention to light and genuine connection — shape the way I photograph a wedding.
Working selectively allows me to give each celebration proper attention, from the first conversation to the final gallery.

Before the wedding, we will talk through the timeline, the people and traditions that matter, and the photographs you would especially like to create. On the day, I offer clear, gentle direction for portraits while also working quietly through the unscripted moments.
My experience in studio portraiture allows me to create more intentional, editorial images using natural or carefully shaped artificial light — without the need for a large production.
We couldn’t have asked for a better wedding photographer. Barbara was incredibly accommodating throughout the day, making everything feel relaxed and effortless while ensuring every special moment was captured beautifully. A special mention also has to go to her outstanding professionalism and care after the wedding — years later, when some of our photos were missing, she was able to retrieve them for us. You may choose focused coverage for one part of the celebration or a longer commission that follows the wider story of the day. After reviewing your timeline, I will help you decide how many hours are genuinely needed.
Do you also offer wedding videography?
My own work is focused on still photography, but I collaborate with trusted and experienced video professionals in the UAE.
I can recommend a videographer whose approach suits your celebration, and we will work together to ensure photography and film are created smoothly throughout the day.
Can our wedding photographs remain completely private?
Yes. No photographs are shared or used publicly without your prior permission.
Privacy preferences and any specific boundaries around photography are discussed clearly before the wedding and respected before, during and after the celebration.
Is all-female photography coverage available?
Yes. All-female photography coverage is available for celebrations requiring complete privacy within women-only spaces.
The team required will be planned according to the size, timeline and privacy needs of your celebration.
When will we receive our wedding photographs?
Your final, carefully edited wedding gallery will be delivered within six weeks of the wedding.
The photographs are provided through a private online gallery, where you can view, download and share them with the people you choose.
How do we reserve our wedding date?
Your date is secured once the booking agreement is signed and the reservation payment has been received.
As I accept a limited number of wedding commissions each year, I recommend enquiring as soon as your date and venue are confirmed.
What happens after we book?
Once your date is reserved, we will schedule an online planning meeting to talk through your celebration, timeline, priorities, traditions and privacy preferences.
This allows the photography coverage to be thoughtfully shaped around what matters most to you.
