specialist in maternity and newborn photography, based in DubaiI’ve been working professionally as a photographer for 18 years, and maternity has been part of my work for over 13 of them. Becoming a mother changed the way I see this work completely. Today, I’m especially drawn to photographing motherhood in its different stages, from pregnancy to newborn and breastfeeding, with a natural and delicate approach, and a process that feels calm, personal and well guided.

I have always thought pregnant women are beautiful, and at the same time, I know many women do not always feel that way while their bodies are changing so much. Some may feel insecure or not quite recognise themselves, and that is why I want to show them what I see. I keep my approach minimalist, simple and intentional. I prefer clean styling, carefully chosen colours and images without unnecessary distractions, so the focus stays on you, your body and this stage of your life. During your maternity photoshoot, I guide you through posing, light and styling, so you never need to know what to do in front of the camera. The result is elegant and natural, with enough direction to help you feel confident while still looking and feeling like yourself.
Maternity Photo Session – A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
Every session starts with getting to know you a little — your story, what you feel comfortable with, what you are drawn to, and what you would like these photographs to feel like. Together with my team, Nathalia and Juliana, we guide you through the process, helping with preparation, styling and the little decisions along the way, so everything feels clear and personal from the beginning.
Your session is then planned around you, including the setting that best suits the experience you have in mind. You can choose between studio, home or outdoor, each offering a different atmosphere and way of photographing this stage.
FAQ
How much does a photography session cost, and which payment options are available?
Photography sessions start at AED 1,750. Payment can be made by credit card, bank transfer or cash. For international payments, we also accept most major currencies and can provide European bank details if preferred.
When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?
We generally recommend scheduling your maternity session between the 29th and 33rd week of pregnancy, when your beautiful bump is nicely visible and you’re still feeling comfortable. That said, every pregnancy is unique, and timing can vary from person to person. Our team will be happy to guide you and help choose what feels best for you!
Do you provide outfits for the Maternity photoshoot?
We do have a small selection of studio outfits, wich we usually mix and match with our client's own clothing to create a natural and cohesive look.
I don’t know how to pose for photos and I'm shy. Can I still book a photoshoot?
Of course! 🤍 Barbara is a specialist in making people feel comfortable in front of the lens. She will gently guide you with poses, while also capturing the spontaneous, beautiful moments in between. You don’t need any experience — just be yourself. Trust us, you will look and feel amazing! ✨
CAN MY PARTNER, CHILDREN and PET JOIN THE SESSION?
Absolutely! Your partner, children and pets are all welcome to be part of your maternity session. Just let our team know when you book, so we can plan accordingly and make sure the experience feels comfortable for everyone.
Do you travel to other emirates?
Yes, 🤍 Barbara is available to meet you at your home in another city for a comfortable and cozy session. A small transportation fee apply. Just let our team know where you’re based and we’ll share all the details with you!
Where is the studio located?
We’re located in Dubai Marina ✨ Our building offers both valet and visitor parking for your convenience, making your arrival smooth and stress-free.
Can I reschedule the photoshoot?
We understand that plans can changel. Sessions can be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice, subject to our photographer’s availability.
Do you offer products?
Yes, we do 🤍 We offer beautifully crafted premium photo albums and high-quality photo frames, designed to preserve your memories in the most elegant way! Our team will be happy to share all details.
How long does the session last?
Our Maternity studio sessions start at 1.5 hours, giving plenty of time to capture a variety of poses and looks.
Home and Outdoor sessions start from 1 hour.
